Product Description
As a premier manufacturer and direct supplier of structural infrastructure components, we engineer the SJ-321 Single Bridge Bearing to deliver unmatched stability for light-duty temporary bridges. Designed for rapid deployment and robust load transfer, this component ensures your bridging projects remain secure under the most demanding environmental conditions.
Direct sourcing from the manufacturer ensuring optimal cost-efficiency
Engineered specifically for spanning distances up to 15 meters
Exceptional vertical load-bearing capacity ranging from 200 to 500 kN
Precision-cast steel construction for ultimate durability and structural integrity
The single bridge bearing serves as the foundational anchor for your steel temporary bridges, meticulously crafted to absorb and transfer immense structural loads directly to the pier or abutment. When handling the heavy steel components of a temporary crossing, the tactile solidity of our cast steel bearings instills immediate confidence. Each unit features a flawlessly machined surface, providing a seamless adapter interface between the truss end post and the base plate. This precision engineering eliminates the jarring mechanical stress typically associated with rapid bridge assembly, ensuring a smooth, secure fit that accelerates your project timeline and minimizes on-site adjustments.
By accommodating limited rotation and mitigating longitudinal displacement caused by thermal expansion, creep, and shrinkage, these bearings actively protect the integrity of your entire bridge structure. Whether you are establishing a vital pedestrian pathway, a disaster relief crossing, or a robust construction site access route, the bearing acts as a silent guardian against structural fatigue. The heavy-duty metallic finish, achieved through advanced hot-dip galvanizing or a thick epoxy coating, not only presents a visually striking, industrial-grade appearance but also forms an impenetrable shield against harsh environmental elements, significantly reducing your long-term maintenance overhead and extending the operational life of the bridge.

Optimize your infrastructure projects with a bearing component that perfectly balances weight, strength, and rapid deployment capabilities. Our bearings are engineered to solve the most common bottlenecks in temporary bridge construction, offering unparalleled reliability and operational smoothness.
Swift Integration: Precision-engineered grooves and bosses align flawlessly with end posts, drastically cutting down installation hours and labor requirements.
Environmental Resilience: Heavy-duty anti-corrosion finishes defend against moisture, salt, and abrasive soil conditions, preserving structural integrity in the harshest climates.
Thermal Adaptability: Intelligently designed to absorb thermal expansion and contraction, preventing dangerous stress accumulations in the bridge superstructure.
Versatile Configurations: Available in both fixed and movable designs, allowing you to tailor the kinetic response of your bridge to specific geological and structural requirements.
Compact Powerhouse: Despite a low-profile height of just 100–200 mm, it confidently manages vertical reactions up to 500 kN, maximizing clearance without sacrificing an ounce of strength.
The foundation of any enduring structure lies in its material composition. We utilize premium-grade metallurgy to ensure our bearings outlast the demands of your toughest projects, providing a steadfast base that resists degradation over time.
Constructed from high-strength cast steel (ZG270-500) or robust welded steel, delivering a formidable compressive strength of ≥500 MPa.
For high-altitude or freezing environments, we offer specialized ZG20Mn low-temperature cast steel to prevent cold embrittlement.
Standardized with premium hot-dip galvanizing or an industrial epoxy coating, creating an exceptional barrier against rust and weathering.
Engineered to maintain its structural properties and visual integrity even after prolonged exposure to muddy, wet, or highly corrosive field conditions.
Safety is non-negotiable in bridge construction. Our single bridge bearings are meticulously calibrated to manage complex mechanical forces, ensuring that every load is safely dispersed into the foundation.
Specifically optimized for light-duty temporary bridges and small-span structures, effortlessly supporting loads between 200 and 500 kN.
Facilitates a safe allowable rotation of ≤0.02 rad, absorbing the natural flex and movement of the bridge deck under dynamic traffic loads.
Effectively mitigates longitudinal displacement caused by concrete shrinkage, creep, and drastic temperature fluctuations.
Acts as a critical safety adapter, precisely matching the geometry of the Bailey truss end post to eliminate dangerous shifting or structural misalignment.
No two project sites are identical. Our bearings are designed with ultimate versatility in mind, seamlessly integrating into a wide array of bridging scenarios, from rapid disaster response to planned pedestrian pathways.
Highly adaptable for small-span (6–12 m) temporary bridges crossing ditches, rivers, or internal construction site roads.
The ideal lightweight solution for rapid-erection military bridge systems and disaster relief operations where portability is paramount.
Functions perfectly as an auxiliary bearing at side piers or as an end support for temporary trestles requiring moderate capacity.
Can be configured as a fixed end to restrain longitudinal movement, or paired with a PTFE sliding plate for bridges experiencing significant thermal movement.

First of all, an experienced construction team should be assigned to undertake the erection of the bridge. Assuming a spacious and flat installation site, we recommend the following procedure:
Assemble the bilateral Bailey panels into two whole constructions, including the lower chord reinforced, horizontal bracing, vertical bracing, and male/female end posts. Each assembling unit is typically composed of 27 pieces of Bailey panel.
Simultaneously, install the bridge bearings on the abutment. Carefully check the length of the single whole Bailey truss and the distance between the bolts on both sides of the river; adjust the bolts if necessary.
Use a suitable lorry-mounted crane to lift the two assembling truss units and place them on the side abutments. A single combined truss unit weighs approximately 11 tons and is 27.4 m in length.
Install the transom (refer to our provided video). As one transom weighs no more than 1 ton, a small crane is sufficient. To maximize stability, install the nearest and farthest transoms first (within crane capacity), then fill in the transoms between them.
Install the sway bracing, then pave the first row of bridge decking in the width direction on the transoms, including side and middle decking. Simultaneously, install the upper chord reinforced to strengthen the structure. The crane can then move onto the decking to install the remaining transoms ahead.
Continue this method for the rest of the structure. Finally, install the upper chord reinforced, curb, gap plate, handrail, connective plate, and handrail columns.
