Jiangsu Sujian Bridge Machinery Kicks Off the Year with Full Production and Smart Upgrading

As the new year begins, Jiangsu Sujian Road & Bridge Machine Co., Ltd., located in Shicheng Industrial Park, Xinfeng Town, Dantu District, has fully resumed work and production. Recently, reporters visited this national high-tech enterprise specializing in prefabricated highway steel bridges. Its production workshops are bustling with activity: intelligent robotic arms operate with high precision, sparks flying as they weld chord members; at the laser cutting station, workers monitor screens closely to ensure orderly processing. The whole production line is running at full capacity to catch up with backlogged orders from before the Spring Festival and fulfill contractual obligations on time.

Founded in 2011, the company has rooted itself in road and bridge machinery manufacturing for more than a decade. It has grown into an industry leader covering 120,000 square meters with an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons. As a “Little Giant” specialized and sophisticated enterprise in Jiangsu Province, Sujian Bridge takes technological innovation as its core driving force. It gathers more than 280 professional and technical personnel, has obtained over 80 patents related to prefabricated highway steel bridges, and was recognized as a municipal-level engineering technology center in 2021. Its core products, including Type 321 Bailey steel bridges and HD200 prefabricated highway steel bridges, are widely used in infrastructure construction and emergency rescue projects at home and abroad. The company has established long-term strategic cooperation with major state-owned enterprises such as China Railway, China Railway Construction, and CCCC.

Li Qun, the production director, briefed reporters on the company’s performance last year and its plans for the new year. In the previous year, the company achieved approximately 390 million yuan in taxable sales, with 13 million yuan invested in research and development. For the new year, it targets a growth rate of around 15%. Meanwhile, the enterprise will continue to focus on new product development and accelerate the construction of intelligent production lines, enhancing efficiency and competitiveness through intelligent upgrading.

Sujian Bridge is firmly advancing from traditional manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing. It has fully implemented an ERP management system for resource integration and adopted strict 6S on-site management. Having obtained ISO three-system certification and work safety standardization certification, the company keeps improving its working environment and preventing safety risks. Its dedication to refined management has earned it numerous honors, including Jiangsu Province 5A Grade Quality Integrity Enterprise and a governing unit of the China Quality Supervision Enterprise Association.

At a new starting point, Sujian Bridge aims for higher-quality development. Besides maintaining stable production, the company is planning for capacity expansion. It will launch a new project specializing in bridge equipment with a total investment of about 120 million yuan. Upon completion, the project will achieve an annual output of 20,000 tons of prefabricated highway steel bridge equipment, with an expected annual sales revenue of 180 million yuan and annual tax payment of 6.5 million yuan. Land for the project’s export passage has been approved, and relevant authorities are speeding up pre-construction procedures to start construction in the first quarter. This new project will inject new momentum into the company’s growth and help upgrade local industries through scale effects and technological empowerment.
